Marguerite is more gifted for the world of the imagination than for reality. Single and a victim of contemporary urban solitude, this ex-vegetarian suddenly decides to learn how to cook meat in the hopes of reconciling herself with matters of the flesh, love and men...

Colin Stone, a.k.a. Raymond Queneau, is a brilliant art forger akin to Elmyr, the preeminent counterfeiter portrayed in Orson Welles’ F for Fake. For the past ten years Colin has shut himself away out of love for his accidentally deceased wife. His son Luca, an up-and-coming young artist whose work is, ironically, a meditation on deceit and lying, returns to New York in search of answers.

What will happen when this intriguing little ad brings Marguerite and Luca together?

“Bewitching French cook seeks to share her passion with carnivore prince.”

Their exciting journey and shared quest for identity will take us on a mad race across New York City reminiscent of such films as After Hours and Desperately Seeking Susan. From a French kitchen to the Bronx Zoo; a crystal ball to the Institute of Forensic Medicine; secret gardens to exclusive art world gatherings...what will they end up finding?
