Thierry Wanegfflelen
Thierry Wanegfflelen teaches the history of the early modern period at the University of Toulouse. He specializes in Western thought and the religious history of the Renaissance. His innovative work focuses on the issues of faith and tolerance, and on women’s studies. He is the author of a celebrated biography of Catherine de Medici (Payot, 2005). He won the Monseigneur-Marcel Prize from the Académie Française in 1998.
