Max Engammare is a renowned expert on John Calvin and a researcher of history and biblical hermeneutics. He is the author of Lire le Cantique des Cantiques à la Renaissance (1993) as well as over fifty articles that have been published in scholarly reviews and journals. He recently edited and published Genesis : Sermons sur le Génèse Chapitres 1,1-11,4 und 11,5-20,7 (Neukirchen, 2000).
