Frédéric Couderc is the author of several nonfiction titles including the bestseller Victime et Bourreau (Calmann-Lévy, 1989), Les RG sous l’Occupation (Orban, 1992), L’Affaire Florence Rey (Raymond Castells, 1998) and Kiffe la violence (Plon, 2001). Prince Ebène is his first novel. A journalist by training, he lived in Africa for three years and has published articles in several magazines and newspapers, including Elle, Le Nouvel Observateur, L’Equipe, Le monde diplomatique, Télérama, and Courrier International. In addition, he has also written for the French cable television network Canal +.
