Piotr Bednarski is a poet and writer. He was born in 1934 in Horeszkowce, a little town in Poland, occupied in 1939 by USSR. Exiled with his family to Siberia during WW2, he will return alone at the end of the war. Les Neiges bleues is the fictional tale of what he experienced in the Siberian gulag. He has also published several novels, short stories and poems. Les Neiges bleues is his first work translated into French.
