Jean-Claude Golvin is a director of research at the CNRS. A professor at the University of Bordeaux, he currently leads a research program in Tunisia. His talent as an illustrator and archeologist led him to work on exceptional restitutions of antique sites and monuments. He collaborated on several illustrated books, including L’Egypte restituée (Errance, 1991 and 1994) as well as Le Voyage de Marcus (Actes Surd-Errance, 2001)
