Saul Friedländer is the chairman of Jewish Studies at UCLA. Saul Friedländer’s works include Probing the Limits of Representation: Nazism and the Final Solution (Harvard University Press, 1992), Memory, History and the Extermination of the Jews of Europe (Indiana University Press, 1993) and Nazi Germany and the Jews (HarperCollins, 1998).
