Luc Adrian drew on his deeply personal connection to the pilgrimage and his expertise as a writer for this book. Adrian completed the pilgrimage to Compostela and subsequently wrote a book on his experience Compostelle: Carnet de route d’un pèlerin (Presses de la renaissance, 2002).
